Community Animal Resource Education & Safety (CARES)

Community Animal Resource, Education & Safety, Inc. (CARES) is a non-profit organization
under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

We are a public charity that has been in operation since October 23, 2009.

Community Animal Resource, Education and Safety, Inc. (CARES) is a group of animal enthusiasts who have come together from various backgrounds to form a new organization dedicated to improving the lives of companion animals.

Our goal is to reach a variety of audiences regarding the responsibility of animal companionship by providing education, assistance and safety programs which promote animal welfare.

We are not aligned with any specific shelter and remain self-supporting. Revenue to implement our programs and initiatives will be generated through fundraisers and donations from members and supporters.

Even though CARES is not affiliated with a specific animal shelter we still promote the “adoption option” through your local humane society or animal shelter. There are many wonderful pets just waiting for you to adopt them into a forever home.

Donation To
Rock Springs Dog Park - O'Fallon, IL

CARES, through our Community Program, made a donation in May 2011 to the O'Fallon Park & Recreation Department to provide needed signage for the Rock Springs Dog Park and for materials the Eagle Scout Troop 85 needed to purchase for their dog agility project within the dog park.
